JUST IN: Man suffers broken bones in accident Tuesday
A 27-year-old Comstock Park man was seriously injured in a personal injury accident at the corner of Post Drive and Pine Island Drive west of Rockford.
The accident occurred around 2:05 p.m. Tuesday.
According to reports, a 1998 International Stake Truck being driven southbound on Pine Island by Allendale resident Todd Devos, 47, struck a 1994 Ford Ranger driven by Matthew Guiles. Guiles was making a left turn onto Post Drive when he was hit.
Guiles was transported to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids and treated. He suffered fractures to his chest, arm and leg.
