Teamster union officials obstruct worker from getting work Chicago, IL (July 19, 2012) – With the help of National Right to Work Foundation staff attorneys, a nonunion Chicago-area construction worker has filed a federal charge against the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and two of its local affiliate unions for discriminating against him on account of his union membership status. Editorial: Fighting racism doesn’t justify busting heads

If a bunch of anti-racists bust into a restaurant and beat up a bunch of racists, they are not noble, heroic or in any way admirable, motivation not withstanding. They are law-breaking brawlers. Dave Duerson’s family sues NFL

CHICAGO -- The family of former Chicago Bears player has filed a wrongful death suit against the NFL over his suicide. The suit was filed Thursday in Chicago on behalf of Duerson's children. Duerson died on Feb. 17, 2011, of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest. The lawsuit accuses the NFL of negligently causing the brain damage that led Duerson to take his own life at the age of 50 by not warning him of the negative effects of concussions. Indiana State Fair Stage Collapse: 48 Victims Sue Sugarland (DISTURBING VIDEO)

INDIANAPOLIS — Country duo Sugarland was named in a lawsuit filed Tuesday by 44 survivors of the Indiana State Fair stage collapse and family members of four people who died, by far the largest claim yet stemming from the tragedy.
